Reverend
Lana Michele Warner

November 13, 1963 - April 14, 2024

Life Story

Reverend Lana Michele Warner was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 13, 1963. She was the oldest daughter of Gary George Warner & Sandra Kay Williams-Warner. She was raised by her mother Sandra, her aunt Lana Williams & her grandmother Alice Cox.

Michele was educated in the Philadelphia public school system and received her General Education Diploma. Life was hard for Michele; at a young age she became a home beautician. She even traveled to her customers' homes to braid hair. As a teenager she gave birth to her only child Muneerah who she made many sacrifices for. Those sacrifices enabled Muneerah to become the woman that she is today. Michele worked various jobs until she could create a stable home environment.

Michele received Christ as her personal savior in 1993. A few years later she became a teacher at Deliverance Evangelistic Church Bible Institute,  Bethel Deliverance Bible Institute, and several other Bible Institutes in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received awards, certificates & accolades from many organizations.

In 2004 Michele decided to attend Temple University. She graduated Temple University Ambler Campus on August 29, 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture. The art of garden cultivation and management was always something she loved. She knew the name of every tree, plant & flower. Her home is currently full of plants.

In 2010 Michele became the godmother of Isaiah & raised him as her own child. In his own words she taught him about life, the Bible & and how to be a man. Today he is strong and able to do many things on his own.

On November 17, 2013 Michele was ordained as a Reverend by The Church of Triumph, Inc. She was ordained and approved to serve and exercise the gifts and all the privileges as required of the Office Reverend - Teacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was ordained by the honorable Rev. Joseph L. Ross, ThD, PhD, DMinS. He is the Overseer, Pastor & Founder of The Church of Triumph.

Over the last few years, due to her illness Michele led home Bible studies for her close family & friends. She continued to style a few of her friends' hair, took mini vacations, had a birthday bash, hosted tea parties & taught the Bible all while undergoing treatments. Even through her illness Michele kept it real. She loved talking about politics & celebrity news and had a great sense of humor.

Michele's work & labor of love has left a lasting legacy in the City of Philadelphia & beyond.

Michele leaves to mourn her only child Muneerah Warner, godson Isaiah, her sisters Enjoli Warner, Amia Warner, Cousins Alan Warner & Frank Warner. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children & god-grandchildren. Along with a host of very close friends.
